This project showcases the illustration and cover design created for The Comfort Food Café, a romance novel written by Debbie Johnson and published by HarperCollins UK.
The goal was to visually convey the book’s warm and cozy atmosphere, with a subtle seasonal feel. I developed an illustrated composition that balances narrative detail, emotional tone, and visual clarity, aimed at engaging readers in both digital and print formats.
The final artwork combines editorial illustration techniques with a contemporary design approach, resulting in a cover that reflects the story’s themes of renewal, connection, and comfort.
