I'm excited to share my latest illustrated book with Hachette UK, "The Hungry History of Sharks." This project marks my second collaboration with the talented author Clive Gifford and takes readers on a journey through the fascinating and often misunderstood world of sharks.
The book offers an in-depth look at various shark species, from baby sharks to prehistoric giants like the Megalodon, as well as bull sharks, reef sharks, and angel sharks. It explores how scientists are using cutting-edge technology to track, study, and protect these creatures, revealing the remarkable insights we’ve gained about them.
With over a third of all shark and ray species currently at risk of extinction, the book also highlights the critical conservation efforts being made to safeguard these formidable predators and the role they play in ocean ecosystems.
